well, you're gonna have to change your diet too, plus I reccomend some running as well.
with that in mind, I reccomend about 100 crunches a day combined with about 15min of bicycle crunches. spread them out for however is best for you.

None. Start running. There is no such thing as spot fat loss. Do sit ups after you lose the weight. You're really not going to have abs until about 12% body fat.

beer bellies are incredibly hard to get rid of. The fat in that area is quite hardy. Generally speaking, muscle building will burn fat in this area, but don't expect any abs untill after a year of hard work.
But for sit up and press ups: Generally speaking i would aim to do 4+ sets until fail resting a minute or two between each set. There is nothing wrong with uneven numbers of sets. I don't so sit ups often but my sets go something like this 60reps, 40 reps, 30, 20 or variants above or below that in four sets. Going till fail is good, but everyday is not necessary, you should always leave one day for recovery when doing most exercises (especially core exercise and weights), it allows muscle tear to repair and the enzymes that come with it to settle.
One fat burning regime that worked for my beer gut, a gut that i developed at the horribly low age of 18, is just a month without potatos, bread, rice, milk, and more importantly beer. focussing more on greens and lean red meat. The fat just fell off me, though i did have decreased engery with the less carb diet.

I can't believe there are still people under the impression that situps will shrink your waist.
To get rid of fat you have to a) take in fewer calories and/or b) burn more calories.

want a sixer?
1.) do WEIGHTED ab work as soon as you can do more than 3x12 reps on any bodyweight exercise 2.) steadily increase load, muscles adapt, no need in doing the same load/reps/sets more than once 3.) lower bodyfat below 10% by doing cardiovascular activities such as running/swimming/HIIT running or alike 4.) eat CLEAN food - this point probably is the hardest 5.) if you can, do deadlifts/squats/L-Pullups those 3 will give you bangin abs.
thats all you need to know

yeah burn the calories.
but to firm up the area and to keep it simple, start on as many sit ups as is comfortable then just add one more each day.
pretty chilled, not mr abs, but noticeable improvement if you keep patience

you need to cut your body fat % down, i wouldn't use weighted exercises most people who are serious about building don't recommend weighted ab workouts.. your abs are different than your other body muscle, they respond best when you work them out everyday.. with one or two days off a week. go very slow, and really contract your abs as much as you can. do crunches, backwards crunches (like raising your hips off the ground it's kinda hard to explain), leg raises, and maybe bicycles. try not to do more than three or four sets of ten or twelve.

Thats bull, its more like 7-8% body fat before your abs start showing.

i go until i cant anymore. that works for me i would do a combo of crunches, situps, L-sits, leg lifts and coffin situps to balance your ab building. dont want to build up just one set more than another

It's different for everyone. Some people can see theirs at 12%, some can't see theirs until 6-7%.. im pretty sure that for most people it's right around 10%
