Okee Dokee, So I am going to start a WBS cased with verm grain pan run. I have soaked my WBS roughly 24 hours and just got done PC'ing it for 65 minutes. I am starting my grain experiments in pint jars. I have a case of quart jars also, but want to try it small scale first. At work tonight, I found these on the baking aisle

These hold exactly 1 3/4 cups. I checked there volume by putting dry WBS in a jar up to about the level where it is in the hydrated jars and then poured it into the little pans. The volume leaves me about 1/2 to 3/8 of an inch for verm to case it with. Anyone ever tried smething this small? Again this is merely an experiment to try the grain tek. I am not expecting much from this run, doesn't hurt to try.

you already messed up if you didnt rinse and strain and drain it... if you soaked it, and didnt at least drain it for an hour or longer before you pc, you will have too much moisture and they will rot, and bird seed stinks to high hell when it rots...
how did you prepare your wbs?

Sorry, didn't clarify. After soaking, rinsed with hot water in a strainer and let drain for about 45 minutes. Didn't just soak and PC.
