Moisture content and 10:1?

Does the 10:1 ratio of fresh-to-dried apply to all harvested strains?
I measured a medium sized B+ at 13grams fresh and then it measured out to be 3 grams dry. The others ones have always applied to the 10:1 'rule of thumb' when determining dry weight, except these last few fruits.
Does the substrate material affect the moisture content and fiber of the mushroom?

it is a rough estimate but it applies to all mushrooms.
I find that it is more like 12:1 but I dry mine stuff more than most

The ten to one figure is only a general rule of thumb, not exact science. A waterlogged mushroom will obviously lose more than 90% of its weight, and a dense mushroom grown in cool conditions will lose less than 90% of its weight. It's all irrelevant though.
