you can but you'd need a large amount of seeds
~5 oz. in my personal experience
some people have overdosed on poppy seed tea haha
EDIT: it's for impatient fucks like me who wont wait a few months to grow the damn thing

haha, interested are we??
Disclaimer: http://poppyseedtea.com/
the amount can differ depending on many factors but i wont get into that
i usually just cover them with lemon juice heat just enough so it won't boil in water for about an hour i would every now and then add a slight amount of water but i'd keep the amount of water at a minimum kind of like a shot of tea
thats about it
i based my tea preparations off of a Erowid Experience post
so if you want you can go look for it
or google "poppy seed tea" for other ways to prepare it

but if i might add some brands of opium poppy seeds get washed before they are sold meaning that making the tea would just be a waste of time
you can tell if these are washed if it says so on the label or if the seeds are a blackish color with little or no whiteness
but if the seeds have a whitish sticky coat around them then they are unwashed, meaning they are the good kind

Mine have a white residue on em.
I have 35g lol. 1/10 the amount required LOL. I don't think I will mess with this now. Good to have the knowledge for future reference though.

hmm well once you start growing, you'll have an abundance of seeds
and from there, you can start experimenting...
but honestly, poppy seed tea is for losers like me who are out of alcohol and weed and need a fix

but first i need my fix... maybe i'll go on a search for some seeds and brew me some tea
Or you could order some pods off ebay and they'll have lots of seeds in 'em you can grow hehe. I've got almost a pint jar full still.
