i dunno Ferris, i do not remember too many people in the grateful dead parking lots spending much time promoting politicians
then again, that was a entirely different band that no longer performs really heh

I hope this at least means there will be The Dead tour in the near future, its been a few years now
they seem to keep emphasizing the fact that it's going to be a "one time only" event. i really dont think they plan to tour together, but fingers crossed, hopefully it'll go down

How has jackie been playing, I heard at the Echo Project in Atlanta they tore it up, but I heard that some shows out west were kind of lame.

hes grand
i saw hi twice last tour
at the greek the killed it very nice show
great energy and a great bay area trip
then i saw them at red rocks and it was beyond discription
the wind the rain and phil and the gang, swingin and swaying into eternity.
jackie really fucking poured ihis heart out at that show, i still remember his teary eyed expression at the end of ripple during the acoustic set
