Covering up smell

I have 4 5lb mycobags in my room that are manure based but it isn't even 50/50. Any suggestions on covering up the smell. I didnt think it would smell so bad i have to oust my room like 2 or 3 times a day and this is with runnin fan all day...thanks in advance

Sounds like you didn't get manure that was composted enough? I don't know much about bulk subs or manure but everything I've read says that when adequately composted; poo smells just like dirt.

There should be near zero smell from any part of growing mushrooms at home. RR

It smells nothing of poop or shit what ever u would like to call it. Its just a real earthy smell....

You guys said composted poop should smell like dirt. And thats what im saying i have here. A really dirty smell but when you have 4 5 lb bags it can be pretty musty of a smell. Was just seein if anyone had any type of advice.

The only times this hobby puts any smells into my room is when I'm either working with alcohol or fan drying some shrooms.
I just light a stick of incense...it covers up any smells with a smokey smell for at least a day. The problem with incense is that if your worried about...say....your parents, it's usually assumed that incense is there to cover up something that shouldn't be there. Either way it works and schmells gude
