stinky h/poo

I picked up some fairly fresh horse shit the other day so I let it sit overnight in water and it's become pretty stinky. Should I just rinse this or should I go get more h/poo? I really don't want to get anymore with all this snow outside.

You can use fresh though right? There is snow on the ground everywhere and I'd much rather just go in the stables.

No. You need field aged, never green from the stables. Get manure that's been out in the weather for a couple of months. There should be zero smell, or it's too fresh. RR

The right poo feels like styrafoam chunks really, its really light, when you break it open you shouldnt see remnatnts of green grass. Generally...late February is a good time to pick up some terds dropped in early January...good to find animals that have had nice wheat straw to graze on. I like to gather poo for the whole year during the winter months....less buggy.

Do not do this part.

you need dry shit... and the only reason you would soak it in water overnight, is because you are growing outside.. you just mix your shit and straw together, and soak, or layer them them after you soak..
get dry shit, and pasteurize it...
