My new lc jars

I just made my first real lc jars, they are Gerber baby jars with RTV injection spots and 3 holes on each cap covered by Micro-pore tape for Fae. The caps will be tin foiled during boiling. What do you guys think about these. are they sufficient?

should work if the micropore tape holds up.
I like taller jars filled with less water so that the liquid does not come in contact with the lid
What are you using for nutrients?

One small hole is enough. You don't need FAE for LC. You just need gas exchange...

fea=gas exchange. you need a lot less air exchange than a fruiting chamber but you still need a little

The concept is the same, but the difference is there. Gas exchange allows for the myco gases to get out, without letting anything improper inside. FAE is fresh air exchange, which involves air intake from the outside aka fanning.

Gas exchange requires a 1/16th inch hole drilled into the jar lid, FAE requires 100+ 1/4 inch holes drilled into an FC.

I guess i should be good then. The reason i decided to use small Gerber ones is because i can get syringe in the middle of the lc so i don't have to tilt. Ill be using Honey from my own honey bees for the lc. Hope all goes well. IM pretty sure my organic honey will be better than any honey you would find in stores.

so would just having a airport syringe posted in the jar be enough gas exchange? or would you bubble it a few times a week?

Do you control where the bees fly and forage their honey ingredients? How can anyone assure honey is "organic" unless the bees are in a controlled environment? Do your bees only land on organic plants? I don't get it. It's like organic tuna, no such thing.

I just poked a hole in the top of mine with a screwdriver and stuffed polfil in there. When I inoculated, flamed the needle and ran it right through the polyfil. Gas exchange and inoculation point in one hole.
