mine get long and nasty so every now and then i sit here and just pull those little fuckers out. i'm doing it right now actually. it hurts though, and it makes my eyes water. does anyone use an electric clipper or anything? i hear they don't work to well but i'm not really sure. do they work ok?

yeah i have the same fucked up problem. I know they serve a purpose of keeping airborn shit from getting you sick but still wtf. Anyway my friends dad says the best way is to take a lighter put it to your nostrol hole and spark it up for like 1-2 sec.s on each side. I just pull em out. Im buyin a trimmer soon, my cous has one and it works great.

fuck scissors...that sounds risky. i'm going to try and find a good electric trimmer.
and fuck the germs getting in...i don't care. better then looking disgusting everytime someone looks at you up close. i have this one friend with the longest nose hairs ever and he has obviously never thought about trimming them. it's pretty nasty. i can't even begin to imagine the effect it must have on his sex life.

What, is she going to tounge him up the nose or something? Must be bad enough to where they're hanging down low outta there.

That's pretty gnarly! I could never do that! I just get a grip on as many as I can, prepare myself, then yank!

well don't you think it might be a turn off to a girl when she leans in to kiss you and sees a little forest springing out of your nose? or if you're trying to look into someones eyes and they have a shitload of nose hairs popping out it's a little distracting.

no he is just a hard ass mofo. I have seen him do it. And if you keep pulling them out the pain will slowly not be so bad after a little while of doing it. Anyway, the best tactic is the specialized nose hair trimmer at your local kmart for like 5 bucks. Cant beat it, but when you 'cut' them they will like any other hair on your body grow back almost twice as fast. Thats why the lighter idea is hardcore but probably best.

if i just yank my nosehairs out, i end up getting ingrown hairs inside of my fucking nostrils that are a huge pain in the ass. i've got this phillips norelco all-purpose facial groomer for like $25 from wal-mart. it's got several different heads you can attach, one being a nosehair trimmer. works just fine.

I've had to step it up to a weed eater personally.
A girl I know who does waxing for a living told me that she's doing a LOT of nose waxes. Of course I told her I'd rather get a brazillian, but she said that all the guys love it, that it really doesn't hurt that bad (especially compared to plucking) and that it feels great and lasts a long time.
I may give it a whirl when I'm in the city the next time.

eh.. there's no way i'd shell out money to get my nose waxed. i use the groomer thing for my face too. keep the sideburns in check, trimmed up and whatnot. so it's not like i bought it just to cut my nose hair. but it takes all of like 1 minute, and i do it maybe once every couple of weeks. so i'm really not concerned about it enough to pay for someone to wax my nose.

Nah, it'll still absorb through the inside of your nose as long as it doesn't get to dry (in which case you can snort a little water).

I used to have a really good Philips Norelco nose hair trimmer. I took it apart one day to clean it and lost the damned part that covers the blades.
Parents got me some cheap piece of shit for christmas one year and it doesn't work well. If you're going to buy a nose hair trimmer, don't spend less than like 10 or 15 bucks or it will just be a waste of money.
Another option is round tipped scissors.
