just got my print from raplh... and i noticed its in a ziplock bag on some kind of paper? was just wondering if i should use my regualr method of scraping in to jar or should i just poke my clean syringe with water in it. inside the bag and just fill and suck out? or would the water degrade the paper and cause a contaminant?
never worked with paper just foil

card stock prints are just utterly ridiculous for anything but a binder to show people the various different species you've grown out or for microscopic studies.
Print on either wax paper, tinfoil or glass.
Your best bet is to scrape the spores (very, very carefully) into a sterile bag (those small ones they normally come in) then inject the water and suck it back up.
I hope it works out for you, paper fibers are very hard to detect and will cause contamination issues if injected into your substrate.
This should be stickied.

do you have a still air box? i do all my print work in my glove box, cleaned with a 10% bleach solution. and i've never had a problem.

normally just an inverted rubbermaid... in a closet....honestly i think it would work perfect if i could inject with water inside the bag.

Squirt a small amount of water onto part of the print. Using an inoculating loop, NOT a knife or needle, stir the water so the spores come up from the print. Pour this into a shotglass with a bit more sterile water and then suck this into your syringe. I prefer foil or glass too, but paper works if you use the prints while fresh. RR
