Hue, I can use it if you don't want it. Just go ahead and win and give it to me. I really need one.

The first thing that popped into my mind was kind of strange.... One of those bird nests that are made out of bird saliva - used to make "bird nest soup"....
Anyway, I am sticking to that answer as my official "remote viewing guess" - as I don't think it can get any better.... Hopefully I get the bird that made the nest as well....

ask, "what is my place in this thing". get your bearings. let down your guard to see what happens. you can handle it.
get good at getting your sealegs.
it happens over and over.

Hue, you already knew this challenge was for apprentice sorcerers such as Icelander and others. I will come up with special challenge soon for the more adept at reality-shaping.

The problem with your whole concept is that when one alters the consensus reality it can only be detected by the one who alters it. To everyone else it is business as usual. Convincing others that their reality has shifted is difficult when the shift was retroactive down to the level of memory. With this in mind any test would be useless to conduct. You must also note that producing mind blowing visual alterations such as teleportation, weather alteration, or shape shifting with large crowds of witnesses is against the union rules. They really crack down on that shit.

Only if it's in a pickle jar.

Diploid said: By the way, call this synchronicity or divine intervention, or plain ol' 'like minds think alike', but I'm working on something similar, only my version is more geeky and tests for the often cited mind-machine interface where it's claimed that the mind can influence quantum level events.
I'm building a True Random Number Generator that produces the random numbers from a source of Quantum Indeterminacy, specifically, the decay of a radioisotope.
The goal is to see if those who participate in the experiment can influence these quantum events which can be detected by finding a statistically significant slew in the random numbers produced at the rate of several million per second over the course of several weeks that the experiment will be conducted. Stay tuned for more when I finish building and testing the gadget.
Like OC's challenge, mine also will be a genuine, honest search for the truth, whatever it may be.

I've focused long and hard and have determined that the secret object is your collection of TV Guide back issues dating between 1973-1986.
