so tomorrow on friday will be a week since i started incubating my jars. i am an experienced grower and usually follow the doc bird seed tek and i usually start to see growth within 5 days. right now i have nothing. just impatient i suppose cause have not grown in awhile because i lived with parents and wanted to wait to get own place, you know out of respect. anyway my question is what is the longest amount of time did anyone go incubating before you started seeing mycelium growth? any input is good and i appreciate the feedback. peace

Did you inoculate from spores or liquid culture? There is a 7 day difference between the wto as to when you will start to see white spots. If you inoculated from spores, I would give it at least 10 days, since your spores need more time. Be patient

yeah if you aren't incubating on the high side of 70 it could take 4-7 days just to germinate your spores let alone see aggressive growth.

experience would tell ya multi spore inoculation is not consistent when it comes to visible growth expectations

I have had to wait 14 days before seeing noticeable growth.

All you need is one syringe per year, just knock up your jars with G2G, and maybe every 6 months start fresh again, from spores in that same syringe.
You can isolate a few clones with every batch to stabilize your pinsets.
Check out my simple clone tek, just drop a nice pin from a cluster into a grain jar.
Once in a while they contam, but hey, it's just a grain jar and a pin right?
