Getting back on the horse.
    #7959217 - 01/31/08 06:00 AM (16 years, 1 day ago)

I've been out of the gym for a little over a week now since my wisdom teeth were removed, and over the past few days I've been able to eat solid foods again, and eaten I have .  I finally feel better today, my gumholes aren't throbbing with my heartbeat anymore so it's time to get right back into my dieting/workout.  Do you think the past 3 months of me doing this will make it easy for me to start back up again or am I going to be dying for air a quarter way through my first mile?

Of course not, you've only been away for one week.

I'm starting to forget what it feels like to workout though, that's why I'm concerned.  :tongue2:

A week is nothing. Try taking a year off.

I hear ya man. If I go a day without working out, I get concerned. Two days, I have anxiety building. Three days, and I'm freaked, and pledge to go to the gym asap.

What can I say...I rely on working out for my peace of mind! Sometimes the body needs the rest though.

Yeah the gym was really helping me relieve stress from my family situation, I'm really anxious to get sweating again, I have to be shirtless this summer!
