harmful knowledge?

speculate with me here.
Imagine if someone wrote a book that gave step by step information on how to kill someone without it ever being traceable. like for instance, by using simple household items, you could end someones life and it be untraceable. (lets not discuss if our government has this or not, or if it already exists... keep it all hypothetical).
basically, if the knowledge was presented to everyone that allowed anyone to kill anyone else and get away with zero consequences.
what do you think would happen? would it even be allowed to be presented at all? would it be deemed a national security threat? how would society react to that? do you think that deaths would rise?

nothing is stopping anyone from killing anyways. If a person is willing to kill another. Then that person already has what it takes in them to do so then its already to late. You have to ask yourself if you really hate this person enough to kill them. Yeah you would get away but is it worth it? would it fix the problem this person gave you? How many people would i effect if i killed this person?

I'd read it. I doubt I'd ever use it but I'd read it.

Yea, the urge to kill is the problem, not the methods in which are used. Although, I do think that death rates would rise if such a book were available.

1) It's highly improbable that information would ever be published.
2) Although I'm not sure if the information would be banned or not, I don't necessarily think it would lead to an increase in murders if it weren't. The inclination to kill wouldn't grow or shrink as a result; the book would only create one more way for people to achieve their sinister ends.

>what do you think would happen? >would it even be allowed to be presented at all?
I don't think a publisher would want to back it, but it could be self-published on the internet.
>would it be deemed a national security threat? >how would society react to that?
It really depends on the specifics of this killing method. Is there NO defense? I'm sure if the knowledge was widespread, people would take measures to foil this method.
>do you think that deaths would rise?
Not so much... most murders are acts of impulse, with no careful planning. There would probably be some high profile assassinations. Depends on the details of this method. Would it, for instance, allow you to get to the US president?
I guess I need more details. What kinds of security would prevent this method from working?
