These people almost sound like they know that they are talking about something they have NO idea about. I love the unsureness in everyones voices. One big mystery, alot cooler this way is you ask me. Who wants to have a huge ruler in the sky with a list of demands that you must follow or burn in hell for eternity and get eaten by monsters over and over.....WTF People

i know you guys might not believe me, but, i used to wait tables at a restaurant where some dude (pastor of a church here in Ohio) that had alot to do with this "creation museum" would come eat once or twice a week. he always had some new faces with him and he would have a piece of paper with chicken scratch all over it (arrows pointing to boxes) that explained his creationism beliefs. the people who were with him were always entranced and kept saying "yeah", "oh really?"...etc. i always just tried to keep a straight face (i have a BS in biology so...). these people really believe the earth is only 6,000 years old . anyway, the dude loved cashew chicken and tipped 15%

They never thought that day doesn't literally mean a day that it could be a thousand years or whatever? If a fucking puma would attack a human why the fuck wouldn't a dinosaur?

A Christian friend of mine told me when I mentioned that simple Carbon dating disproved a 6000 year earth, that Carbon dating must be false. It's like, in order to be a Christian, you have to stick your fingers in your ears and ignore anything that isn't in The Bible. Yeah your video had a lot of Scientists saying they don't have a theory, but anyone can search for Abiogenesis and say other-wise. Of course, Those must all be lies too, for the Holy Word is the only true "Science".
As for the museum, I could NOT believe that a man tried to entertain the possibility that T-Rexs ate plants and were on Noah's Ark. Utter ignorance. Seriously, could cows eat grass if they had dagger shaped teeth jutting out of their mouth?!?!?! MAN.. Creationists will say ANYTHING. If T-Rexs were created after Humans, why the Hell can't we Find Human Fossils under Solid Rock along with Dinosaurs?

Christian Fundamentalists appear much less harmful than Islamic Fundamentalists. I'll take the Christians any day!
This is pretty sad though
It's hard to believe these numbers though... 1/2 of Americans don't believe in evolution? Who the hell did they poll? I don't know one person that denies evolution.

Found this on fark.
Christian fundamentalists are a little more scary than fundamentalist muslims, especially when you consider the Christians control the U.S. Air Force, compared to the muslims who have to dismantle artillery rounds in order to make explosives.

Yeah I think Christian fundamentalism is just as dangerous practically speaking. Any viewpoint which denies external evidence and uses circular logic to prove itself correct is doomed to be damaging to the rest of the world.

JTB,
You know what it means to play Devil's Advocate, right?
That video only showed support for creationism.

it's OK, I'm here now and I'll not be needing him to serve as my proxy
devils advocate is someone that takes a differing view just for the sake of argument, it's done to test the for weakness in the original arguement

The term "devil's advocate" can be traced to the catholic canonization process for saints. The devil's advocate was a cannon lawyer assigned to argue against allowing a person's name to be recorded with an St. (from the Latin sanctus meaning sacred or holy) in front of it. The devils advocate argues against the true holiness of someone or something most people consider to be holy.
