What is your opinions on two 18" daylight F15 color temp 6500k over a shotgun FC. 12 hour cycles.

i say go for it during the pinning stage, after that you can knock down the cycles to less if you want.
that is, if you already have the lights.. i wouldn't spend money on lighting..

whereismymind...I read that but..Im a little lacking in understanding. Is he saying that I should have a 3 light set up...(i dont think he is)
370 nm = 7831 degrees K 440 nm = 6585 degrees K (closest to what I have) 460 nm = 6300 degree K
The 6500k will be okay for the pinning stage, but the light is only 15watts, so it would need to be upgraded to 120 watts.
"This is great because 440 nm is 1 of the 3 best wavelengths to expose your PC mycelium too"
Sorry man, just want to get this right and didn't understand it completely.

you are one of the few people who understands and comments on my sig. =) maybe because deftones itself is unneccesary anyway , in that thread he wants to tell for a superb pinning you need to provide those 3 light spectrums , but any of them will also be enough and probably much more better then lights on the red spectrum ( warm) so go with the cool comfact fluoros around 6500 if you want to support you can support with a light that has daylight spectrum which is on the blue side. Peace

Engine number 9 and 7 words were my fav off of Adrenaline. White pont and ATF were great yes. ATF was probably my favorite. I used to listen to them in high school all the time. My taste has broadened now, but good music is good music.
Good deal, yeh I went to Home depot today and got two F15 18' inch 6500k's they are only 15 watts though . I think itd be best to get two F20's that are 100watts...according to what dude said.

I think..I dunno maybe 100 watt is too much? I guess it depends on how close Id put the light
