http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coir

Coir (from Malayalam kayar, cord) is a coarse fibre extracted from the fibrous outer shell of a coconut.

Pronounced (Kwuar). That's the best way I can think of explaining it. Also, I was under the impression that Coir was coconut fiber!

Coir bricks are just small particulates and dust resulting from processing coir fiber. It's gathered, pressed into bricks, and sold as pet bedding and soil amendment (and other uses).

I don't know but I've been told. It's hard to run with the weight of gold                                                                  On the other hand I heard it said. It's just as hard with the weight of lead.
