Putting psychedelics in your work

Since taking psychedelics over the last year or so, I am now "tuned in" to the subtle psychedelic nods others place in their work. It's always been there, of course, but it's usually meaningless to non-psychonauts. I'm sure there's a lot more I still can't see.
I think it's quite cool that we have our own way of communicating with each other, without the uninitiated realizing it's happening.
I'm curious how many here are tuned in to it, and how many put these markers into their own work. I know I do when the opportunity presents itself.

Unfortunately my line of work (civil engineering) is completely unpsychedelic and I don't know how I could include anything like in it
Can you tell us what you mean by that AFV mushroom?

He's just saying if you have something like a mushroom lamp or a picture of a cactus or something...
It's like a hint...or a clue...
That...

i never looked at AFV like that but i'll keep my eyes opened from now on.
my work in this world is being a writer and i always slip a few nods in about it. as a matter of fact i consider my writings always as a multi-layered stuff - those in "the know" can read it both ways, for "straight" people it's just an amusing fairy-tale.

For the AFV mushroom, I'm reluctant to post a picture because I'd really really hate to get someone into trouble. Everyone here should have no trouble spotting it, now that you know it's there.

This is exactly what I'm talking about.
For the most masterful example of this I have seen so far, watch "The Golden Compass". Just for us, they were nice enough to provide some expert instruction on how to obtain enlightenment through psychedelics! And all those shmucks were sending out chain emails, worried about some hidden atheist message! LMFAO!
It should be no surprise -- psychedelics increase creativity, and the most creative among us rise to the top.

Exactly. Like in Juno, prominently displaying mushroom salt-and-pepper shakers on the kitchen table, or a faded T-shirt of a mushroom.
As a general rule, the better the movie, the more references it will have.

i agree with everything above BUT i disapprove personally those people who act like they are above everyone else. as in, they see psychedelic references and then they are special just because they "know". i never met any of those but i consider them dumber than those in "the know".
