Casing Bird Seed in a Martha

Here's what I've got.
46 Quart jars of Wild Bird Seed (WBS) inoculated with B+ incubating at 86 degrees and 78 percent humidity inside a giant cooler.
A Martha (built using Cyber's Tek) with a 24/7 Coolmist averaging 70 degrees and 85 percent humidity. I also have a ultrasonic fogger inside the coolmist which I am playing with to get my humidity perfect.
I plan on casing the WBS using the 50/50+ casing tek.
Do I have enough WBS to max out my Martha or should I consider spawning to a bulk substrate such as poo or straw?

46 Quart jars!?!?
geezus man, that is a lot of WBS!
id say you have plenty to fill that martha up without any need for bulk substrate, but then again i've never dealt with 46 quart jars of grain at one time
5 shrooms to you if you post a pic

just try to make sure that your wbs substrate layer on your casing is at least 3 inches thick. You have more than enough spawn for all sorts of projects. If you do not use the spawn you need to cool it down so it doesnt "piss all over itself" technically knowns as metabolites.

Thanks Shroober. Ive got no cam but I'm working on it.
It looks like I will have to spawn to a bulk substrate in order to achieve a 3 inch thick substrate. My logic is as follows.
1 quart jar is about 58 cubic inches.
My jars are 3/4 full and I have 46 of them so that is about 2000 cubic inches of WBS.
The shelving capacity of my Martha is 2300 square inches, and I figure after accounting for tubs and space for airflow, I've got 1700 usable square inches.
This means that the WBS will be little more than 1 inch spread out over this area.
I need at least 3 times the substrate I currently have incubating. My living situation will change in about 4 months and I will no longer be able to participate in this pastime (moving in with gf) so I'm looking to maximize my yield.
Any suggestions or tips? The horsepoo tek is looking good and I can get plenty of poo around here.

I use to get 50 one quart casings in at a time.

Thanks Magash! Those are actually the pics that inspired me to do this in the first place. I have read quite a few of your posts while organizing this project.
How deep do you think your substrate is for those casings? Are you casing WBS and are you using 50/50+ casing?
Looking at those pics again gets me so excited I can barely stand it.

if you're attempting to get a big score before moving in with the gf then use that WBS to spawn to some hpoo, you could do a couple of rounds in the FC and get a ton of... edible mushrooms
so use half of those jars to spawn to hpoo, put the rest of the jars in the fridge. after a couple of flushes throw out the old casings and restart with the rest of the jars and some hpoo, do a couple more flushes and you'll end up with a nice amount
good luck, have fun!
you should also take a BUNCH of prints and donate them to a free spore ring
