To my friend Cubie:
Really? Cause on my end, its frozen. Probably just my computer overheating from too much porno watching. Who knows.
To OogieBOogie:
No problem dude! If you need help with anymore crazy Spanish and/or Indigenous latin-American language names that have been given to mushrooms, I'll gladly help you out with the pronouncation.

Hooray! Lets celebrate!
Lets celebrate by eating our favorite strain or smoking our favorite bud strain. I'll go grab some Mazatapec's and some White Widow for the Party.

Man, nobody knows what you should grow.
I'd drop one of the four you suggested, and trade it for a mutant strain... like a PE strain, or an Albino strain or a red spore strain, just to mix up the variety a bit more.
It is always fun to try something completely different.

Far from offended here. Sorry you thought I was.
There is little info out there concerning which strains fruit fastest. This is the best thread I have found. It doesn't discuss ALL the strains you want to know about but it IS informative. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/9229850
As you can see, some strains are faster, some slower... most take 2-3 weeks from birthing to mature fruit... with subsequent flushes coming faster still. It seems the fastest strains are the stringiest. It takes time to grow a large fruit. With larger fruits taking longer than the smaller ones, it seems that the time you spend to get the bulk almost evens out. The fastest strains are not bulky, the bulkiest strains are not fast.
If you are growing on cakes, or using multispore inoculation, there is a GREAT room for variety from one grow to another, even with the same syringe. Your shrooms may look different than advertised, they may grow slower/faster... they may not even fruit. Mother nature is unpredictable. That is part of the fun.
I prefer multispore, because it IS so unpredictable. I trust I'll get enough shrooms for me, any extra is gravy. If you want consistently fast, potent and bulky grows, you need to have patience and lots of agar.

Trading discussion is not allowed in this forum. Sorry.
Wait a few weeks, and make a few more posts, and a forum will open up where you CAN make trades.

You know what I don't understand about Cubeneis "Strains"?
- How can different strains of the same species, with their own unique physical characteristics, (like variations in size, color, cap shape, etc) grow in the exact same environmental and substrate conditions as eachother?
Would a good metaphor to this fact be with humans, which come in different "races" (in which "races" are a social concept based on phenotypical variabilities and not a biological reality) can mate with eachother and produce fertile, live offspring?
Is that what essentially what "strains" are in the P. Cubenis species?
Does that mean at a genetic level all Cubenis strains have the same genetype (alleles, chromosomes, etc) which produces different phenotypes, like stem size or cap color?
I'm royally confused on the subject.

I'd like to think I do, but I need some confirmation from a P. Cubenis Strain expert.

The term "Strain" when describing cubensis probably comes from weed. Weed DOES come in different strains, so the term was used to market shrooms to hippies familiar with the lingo.

If that is true, then what the H@ll are the different "strains" of P. Cubenis? Sub-species?
And what about the unique phenotypical differences, are those just a figment of my imagination or is there some significant Allele/Chromosome variation between the different "strains" of P. Cubenis species at the DNA level?
Still confused on this "Strain" idea, ~ LogicaL Chaos ~
