Me and my friends have decided to grow shrooms. We are using 1 lb. bags. I've been thinking about using Keepers Creepers b/c I hear they are good to start with. I was wondering what environment do the creepers have to be in? Also if anyone has a better suggestion on what strain I should use I'm open to it. I live in upstate South Carolina but I'm not sure if that matters since I'm using bags inside.

It doesn't matter at all. Use any cubensis strain. It's the easiest to grow for beginners.

just dont pay more than $20 for a syringe. anything higher and your getting ripped off.
use a shroomery vendor. my fav is www.Ralphstersspores.com
when you place an order request a SOTM(strain of the month) its a freebie.
so you get 2 for $20 total.

Thanks. I'm using 4cc of the creeper spore in each 1lb grow bag. Can someone give me an estimate of how much shrooms I will have after they are dried.

Anyone notice pink Buffalo's as being a slow colonizer?

PF Classics blow. They take so damn long to colonize. I inoculated some WBS quarts on the 8th and the biggest sign of growth so far is a spot the size of a nickel. I was hoping to have all flushes done by spring break, ~14th of March, when I go on a vacation. Not good.

Its not the strain......maybe something else you over looked? FAE, temps fluxing, moisture content in your grain, IDK?

They take a long time to colonize BRF too. I used Doc's tek and it stays a constant 78-80F. No FAE, jars are covered with foil - I'll fix.

it is not the strain. you probably have too much moisture which will slow the grown. also you probably did not have many spores deposited in the grain so the ones that are there are taking time to germinate. you never know though it could take off soon. you might be able to pul it off.

Ralphstersspores.com carries them too, and has a brief description of them. So, No I don't think you got scammed.

Speaking of Ralphsters... I've got some Blue Meanies and some Golden Teacher's from him - they were on the specials. I knocked up 5 cakes of each and the Meanies are just tearing into those jars. They are goin about twice as fast as the GT's.

Don't know about the vendor... but probably legit. They are saying the right things. They are not sponsors... so I haven't had a chance to get to know them.
Follow the proper tek and see if it works. Check Shroomery vendors for overseas shipping prices next time. The dollar is cheap across the pond.

after some investigation, i checked ralphsters and what i have arent cuban. looking at the shape of the cap/stem and colouring im almost 100% that i have brazilians. they have the titty on top and everything. its no biggy tho theyre still hitting the spot.
i was looking at ordering abroad but with the economic downturn the exchange rate for a £>$ isnt too great, plus im reluctant to have them come through customs. drugs get reclassified every other week here it seems. grass went from a B to a C to a B . shrooms were legal up till a couple of years ago, now theyre illegal to cultivate but legal to possess so long as theyre still moist, if theyre dry then i think theyre a B or A.
im planning to emigrate to austria next year and a record really wouldnt do me any favours id rather stay 100% off the radar
