I am wondering if I have a problem I have a 1/2 pt jar of Maxatepac fully colonized and it has now been sitting in the Fc since the 4th. I grew this as a BRF cake. The other cakes which are different strains that I had in there one has completely flushed and has been harvested the others are now pinning the Maxatepac is not showing anything. I guess my question is this, does this strain only fruit if spawned to poo or a similar substrate?

Poo is not the problem.

If you use multispore injection, some cakes are just going to be duds... and sometimes, they'll just take a LONG TIME to pin. Nature is weird and imperfect. Just like me.

Thanks. I read that sometimes the Mazatepac can take longer but it just seems to be sitting there I wanted to make sure it wasn't a strain that would only fruit on one or two types of Sub. I have the room in the FC so it can just sit there and get moral support from the ones that are pinning now.

There is no such strain. The growth conditions for all the cubensis strains are exactly the same.

When you go into different species, pan cyans for example require poo to fruit. But cubes are cubes.

what is a small shroomie type usually not exceeding 6 inches... but packs a punch. wide or skinny doesnt matter.. its just that i have limited heighth for them to grow. i dont want them to be all crammed and smashed in the terrarium. potency is an issue i want to take care of as well.. im into visuals... ADVICE?! there are just too many spores to choose from shops on my own

If height is an issue, just pick 'em early. That said, Penis Envy may do the trick.

There is NO one strain that is more potent than any other strain. It's all random with multispore. If you want a strain that is always potent you will have to clone a potent fruit or isolate a potent culture on agar.

A Cube is A Cube is A Cube.. What does that mean..  Means all of them can have the same potency.. This is something u can't judge buy sub-strain it is all genetic.. So no matter if you are growing F+ or Texas or EQ.. One is not more potent than the other..  Just grow a sub-strain fruit it and clone a potent fruit body that is how you get potency by cloning or isolating a potent fruit body..
