Hello,
does anyone know anything about blue meanies and golden teachers. Meaning, how long do either of these strains take to start colonizing especially in the pf-tek method? Is there any special things to do while in fc? Do either of these strains produce large amounts of fruits? Any information will be appreciated, you can pm me with links or your own personal experienceans, ANY INFO IS APPRECIATED!!
Thanks in advance.

Check Cervantes's Journal for about the most comprehensive Cubensis list and what has been said about them in particular

And if any of you notice something is missing... add it to the strain's thread, or just let me know if I need to create a new thread.

Here is the deal concerning strains: Strains are pretty much irrelevant. Both of the strains you have are psilocybe cubensis. There is a variance in the appearance of the two strains due to isolation however, the variations are not significant enough for science to name them as a new "species" thus they are "strains". As for the spore vendors, they are always naming new "strains" in order to keep their customers coming back for more. It is a marketing technique that, in my opinion, that is clouded in suspicion.
Grow either strain. when beginning to cultivate "strain" is really irrelevant and you should concentrate on getting them to fruit. So it is completely up to you! Flip a coin. Or grow both.

Use either one. It doesn't matter. They all grow the same. They just look different.

the Hawaiian.
usually there isn't much difference between strains.
but...
the PF classic doesn't do very well in casings...IMO.
the PF classic does best on pf cakes.
I've never seen a really good pf classic casing... in all the years that I've been here at the Shroomery.
here is a pf classic done by pleezr...

probably the best pf classic casing that I have seen... and pleezr is/was one of the best growers in the OMC.
So I'd do the Hawaiian if I was you... since you want to do a casing.

What if you grow it on a bulk tray, and clone the fruits that grow well, and do another bulk grow?

Yup. Selective breeding to get a shroom to grow well on PF cakes. That is all it took.

This is the wrong thread for discussing indoor azure cultivation. Also, don't talk about mailing shrooms in this forum... it is a no-no for what should be obvious reasons.
Anyway, good luck. Many try... only a handful are successful.

Yeah, what do I know? You may be the one in thousand that actually does it... with your first try.
I still recommend growing some cubes first, then when you have some experience of growing you can try to grow azures.

I've recently been considering growing the Dancing Tiger strain and have looked all over for a trip report but can't find any information at all on what the trip is like or how potent they are. Has anyone tried this strain and can explain to me in any detail how the trip is?
