They would compete with one another, and odds are that neither would do as well as if you grew them separate.
You want something that is like the best of strain A (lots of stones) and Strain B (easy to fruit to print)? Try Atlantis #7.

Most people seem to think that its an amanita. The original art wasn't colored, but the cap is white or brown in most colorations. Definitely no texture on the cap.

Carroll didn't do the artwork so maybe he had a different look in mind.

yeah man
amantia's biggest characteristic or trait is the white bits on the red cap.

That cap would be a little small for an amanita too. The caterpillar takes up nearly the whole thing.

I have many quart jars of APE knocked up and there is some growth but much much slower than all of my other strains. Not much rizo growth either. There is just white balls by glass and it's not spreading like my past experiences. Does any one else have this issue since the strain is so new?

Alright, i believe this belongs here...
Me and my girl recently grew the Cambodian strain... and we both took 'about' an 8th... maybe slightly less, and used lemon tek...
What we recieved... was getting STONED off our asses... not so much psychadelics... I had slight psychadelic but mostly it felt like i smoked some hydro... and we LOVE visuals which we expected to mainly get.
Is this a natural effect of cambodians or was it just our genetics? I know different strains have different kinds of trips. I'm just really curious to know.
I plan on growing GTs next.
Any voices on this matter?

sshorty, read the first page of this thread. There's several posts that outline the growth characteristics of most of the strains out there.
Quick question for some of the old schoolers out there. I purchased a syringe of the "shooting star" spores from Hawk, figuring what the hell, if people pay 90 bucks for it, i might as well check it out for 15. I grew them on two BRF cakes in a perlite chamber.
Does anyone know what strain these originally come from? They look like a pan! Skinny, white, small fruit, potent as hell, only difference is the mycelium was VERY rhizomorphic and there was virtually no blue staining on the mushies after i picked them.
Are they a pan? I would think the mycelium structure would rule them out right? Either way, beautiful shrooms, but not worth the 90 bucks at STP, Hawk, your a bad ass!!!

Hmm I posted this question in the main cultivation forum because I didn't realize this thread was here. But anyways I'll ask again, So I grew both Amazons and Koh Samui's but I don't notice any difference in the appearnce of the fruits. Is this normal? Should I be noticing a big difference? I ask because I'm wondering if the names of the strains on my initial prints were legit or just written on there. Fruits from both cakes look the same to me.
P.S.-Sorry Roger Rabbit for posting that in the main cultivation forum. I tried to move it after but didn't see an option for it.

Cubes are all dung lovers.
Straw, Coco coir, horse poo(others too of course), worm poo/castings, coffee, gypsum, grains(spawn), compost, seaweed all make good substrates and I've heard cotton too.

that's exactly what's wrong with this thread. It's so many pages long. It's pretty much a garbage dump for questions regarding strain.

This is not the best idea on shroomery. I asked a question a week ago, a valid question, not a stupid noob question, and it has yet to have been answered. As flux said, this is a garbage dumb for strain related questions. I understand having a thread like this for stupid questions like, does such and such a strain make my ears get fuzzy and taste like chocolate, but for legit questions, people should be able to post in the regular forum without getting flamed, and then moved into this worthless thread.

It's not a strain, but a species. It requires a tree host, so isn't compatible with indoor growing. RR
