Liquid culture experiments/questions

So I have been doing some experiments with honey cultures. I have been trying to perfect my techniques with a bunch of psi. cyanescen prints that I brought back from Seattle this fall. Before I try to use my copelandia cyanescen print, of which I have only one.
So I have been using about a teaspoon of honey per half pint jar. I sterilize the honey water in a hot water bath, let cool and then dump in the spore water. It has worked pretty damn well, seeing growth within 24 hours.
I decided to experiement with trying to grow out mycelium that I already have growing on cardboard in the same manner. I boiled the honey jars and then threw in a myc'd woodchip. This actually doesn't seem to work as well as the straight spores, which suprised me.
So I have a master plan to keep expanding this shit for months until the weather is suitabe to put them outside on woodchip beds. Would it be acceptable to cram the jars(once the myc has grown out more) with woodchips and let them soak for a period of time? Or is there a better way to transfer the liquid culture onto something it will grow on more long term?

I don't know about your liquid culture plans, but I don't think that Pan cyans are wood lovers... Poo is the way to go for these...

i would never use a lc to expand a lc. Plus do you really have a use for more than 500ml of lc?? I end up throwing my out after about 100ml of use. They just get too thick and hard to suck up.
I have just reduced my sugar content of my lc's again. I use 1/2 gram of malt power per 500 ml of water. 1/2 gram is like 1/8th of a teaspoon. it works great!!
Once a lc is overgrown I open it up and run it through a coffee filter. I then take the mycelium chunks and add some water and blend it for a second in the blender. Then i put it in a spray bottle and take it hunting with me. I spray the shit out of areas that provide good source of food for the wood lovers that I am growing. it works, next years hunting will be great
-------------------- Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.
