well i posted yesterday on the mildewish smell coming from the jars i had started about 5 or 6 days ago. i cam home today and the smell was still there with no sign of myc growth. so i decided to toss them out since im not really low on supplies for now and get this weekend, neways.. i used pre made myc jars that i had ordered that were pre sterilized, i figured i couldnt go wrong with the sterilization process if the jars were presterilized, this way i could concentrate more on the inoculation process so if nething goes wrong i know thats where the mistake was made. i cleaned my desk really well with clorox clean up then flame sterilized and wiped with alcohol between jars, i noced up 12 jars and put them in my incubation chamer, ive heard several times that this isnt required but like it cuz of the controlled environment, also i live in south tx and if a northern comes in, its coming and im with no heat in my room with equals about 50 to 60 degree temps, so thats y im using the incubation chamber.
did i take enough of a precaution in sterilizing my work area. i also cleaned my hands really well along with my face and put on clean clothes and noced them up. ps i sprayed the room with the clorox thx for all replies.

You really should use at least latex gloves and a facemask. There is no way your hands are getting sterile. If you continue to have sterilization issues, you might consider building a glovebox.

thx that was actually what i was thinking. if this attempt turns out the same way im gonna build a glove box and take further precautions. what im wondering is will innoculating them in the middle only, give me results. should i shake the jars to move the substrate around and spread the spores

if you're poor like me you can attempt a budget glovebox like the one in my sig
it works. I made it myself.
