Remote Viewing anybody?
    #7950648 - 01/29/08 02:38 PM (16 years, 3 days ago)

Anybody here know how to do Remote Viewing?

What are you opinions on it?

My plan is to master it... once my online tutorial begins!

Any guidance is much appreciated.

I'm interested to hear how it goes.

I tried it in my younger years but never had much success.

Its difficult to find information on how to remote view.

I think that it'd be awesome, but I've never looked into it.

http://www.firedocs.com/remoteviewing/answers/crvmanual/index.html

Check that out. It is supposedly the manual that the CIA used in the late 80s.

Check out this book:

http://www.amazon.com/Mental-Radio-Studies-Consciousness-Sinclair/dp/1571742352/ref=sr_1_33?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1201734878&sr=8-33

It's not a how-to book, but a look at some remote viewings his wife drew during their multi-year experiments.  She was pretty good at it and she describes her technique in the book.  Enjoy!

the movie premonition actually has a great special feature based on remote viewing. One of the best guys the CIA used describes going outside of your mind, and how people rely too much on their senses to create their reality when in fact our minds are everywhere..trippy shiz

Apparently not unless they are

A. too shy to demonstrate their abilities.

B. a fairly recent addition to the forum.

I had a remote-viewing challenge here a few years back in which first prize was a mystery object to be viewed and identified. It was a Hopi silver bracelet worth about $450. No one even got close. Case closed.

Next myth...

No critical thought in this forum please. Feel free to think critically on this topic in P&S. Thank you.

3) You can't have a certain plant in your possession or you'll get locked up with a rapist and a murderer.

4) We need a smaller, less-intrusive government.

Is there actually any other type of thought?

Its not critical thought to declare "case closed" because of one very small experiment.

What if a million people who weren't on the shroomey were getting a 90% accuracy?

Yet you think this is critical thinking?

Critical assumptions, more like.

As opposed to thinking there is something to it with ZERO evidence?

That and the other thousands of failed experiments in similar fields for the last 100 years.

C'mon folks. I don't want to lock this thread. This is the no debate, no critical thought forum.

Start a thread in P&S and debate there. Please. Let's leave this thread for those who believe without evidence.

Here's the perfect thread to put the light of truth on the subject for all to see and debate:

This is where we differ.

You show a dualistic mindset.
You say

A) Nothing to it. Case closed
or
B) You assume people think there IS something to it

Well I choose neither of these
I choose
C) Remain skeptical yet open minded to possibility

There are probably many more ways of looking at it too.

Try not to have such a dualistic outlook though OC.

It's very real and has been used many times with a lot of success and yes there is evidence. Plenty of it.
You really need some proper training though and the best known place to learn it is at http://learnrv.com
Do some research and actually know something about it before you dismiss it and you might actually learn something. Don't be so ignorant people.
