Liquid Culture's?
    #7949952 - 01/29/08 10:51 AM (16 years, 3 days ago)

I whipped up some lc in pint jars and i siliconed the injection port before I was to PC it. Will pure silicone survive in a PC or will it melt.

thanx

jm

Im pretty sure it will survive. Although it might be a little soft when it comes out, just let it cool and harden.

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

Smitty and he know something...

Silicone needs to cure for 48 hours prior to being pressure cooked for 45 minutes at 15psi.

Adjust your temperature according to the nutrient media being used, some can caramelize at less time then others.

P.S if you don't give it that 48 cure time, expect silicone droplets in your LC

24 hours has never failed me, and survived 90 minutes at 15psi...
