Video game withdrawal has physical symptoms.
Seriously. You dumbshit. The brain is PHYSICAL. The reactions it conducts are PHYSICAL. If you want to get really anal retentive, every addiction ever is physical, and therefore everything under the sun is physically addictive.
There are two very different types of addictions, though; don't try to blur that line because it's stupid and it enables people to project their problems onto inanimate objects.

I always have intense vivid disturbing dreams when I stop smoking.

If you are 'trying' to quit and failing, chances are you should just realize, and accept that you might actually enjoy your 'addiction' and don't want to quit.
I too was a daily toker, for about 4 years. I was stoned constantly, at work, school, whenever. I quit without a second thought. This is because I wanted to quit
Pretty well summed up, here. A true dopefiend doesn't necessarily enjoy his drug of choice. He just needs it to function properly.
Most (if not all) stoners I know who are "addicted" to weed don't use it to function, they just consciously love to get stoned... sometimes way too much, but that's neither here nor there. Pretty clear distinction.

Stop hanging out with your stoner buddies so much.
You should easily be able to stay away from chron itself aslong as the people that have it arent around you.
If not then you need to get a life and move on.
