Myc vs Cobweb
    #7945123 - 01/28/08 12:26 PM (16 years, 2 months ago)

incubating quarts of wbs i noticed some grey stuff growing, digging through threads i decided it was cobweb. I left it to incubate for a few more weeks, mostly cause i didnt feel like doing anything with any of it for a lil while. but anyways, the large grey spots are now just about gone with pretty white myc taking its place. is it possible for myc to battle the cobweb? does anyone have another explanation for this?

Cobweb(Dactylium) is rarely a jar contaminant. It sounds more like thin mycelium at first has simply thickened up.
