The shroomy 1 said: I would think that we ask because we are seeing what the end result of a certain specimen is. That looks like a text book "perfect" grow you have. So I'm thinking, that is the most perfect fruit that strain is going to produce! Now, I'm thinking What strain is it. That way, I can compare and contrast to "other" strains and their "Perfect" fruiting potential. That kind of adds to our knowledge base and allows us to make an educated decision on what strains we may want to attempt to grow.
that makes perfect sense. what i was getting to though, was that it seems like you should just be able to see a strain and know what it was. if that makes any sense?

By asking what strain it is, I don't try to find out what strain I would need to perform or look exactly like this. Actually performance isn't interesting for me at all (well, almost )
I'm aware of the fact that you can't cultivate some strain and speculate on it to look exactly like the one you've seen pictures of on the internet etc. Sometimes, they look actually totally different. Anyway, certain strains have certain characteristics. For example I mostly like strains, that develop a thick a strong veil that cuts away clean and stays "robust" to full maturity (so it doesn't vanish, like some keep doing). So when I see pics of cubes that more or less resemble the "perfect cube", I try to find out what strain it is, to try them in order to find MY very own perfect species
So far it's Amazon and I doubt it gets any better
Once again: NICE fruits
