Fuck time here. I dont support dictatorships. Especially ones that allow other people to be disrespected in such a ridiculous manner. I understand the need for rules but in order for discussion to be fair and civilized respect for one another is required.

--------------------
Man is timid and apologetic; he is no longer upright; he dares not say "I think," "I am," but quotes some saint or sage. He is ashamed before the blade of grass or the blowing rose.Man postpones or remembers; he does not live in the present, but with reverted eye laments the past, or, heedless of the riches that surround him, stands on tiptoe to foresee the future. He cannot be happy and strong until he too lives with nature in the present, above time

Man are you ever blowing this out of proportion.  I don't know what you hope to achieve with your crusade here, but you're definitely on your own.  If you find a particular user to be disrespectful, use the ignore function.

Dictatorships... :whatever:

Welcome evermore to gods and men is the self-helping man.  For him all doors are flung wide: him all tongues greet, all honors crown, all eyes follow with desire.  Our love goes out to him and embraces him, because he did not need it.

Dictatorships? You watch too much TV.

Everyone, let's get back on topic now. Thank you.

Edit: he's been banned and isn't reading this. Back on topic now please, whatever it was.

Republican Values:

1) You can't get married to your spouse who is the same sex as you.
2) You can't have an abortion no matter how much you don't want a child.
3) You can't have a certain plant in your possession or you'll get locked up with a rapist and a murderer.

4) We need a smaller, less-intrusive government.

TS, you are the most disrespectful one here. You can't expect people to agree with your beliefs just because they've taken mushrooms, then get angry and verbally abusive when they don't. That's incredibly disrespectful.

Also, HOW many pages has this gone on? Are you still trying to convince anyone other than yourself?

I like that explanation. However, like someone else said, I don't think we'll ever "know" what happens after death, since there is absolutely no proof of any of the millions of afterlife theories being factual.

And for the sake of staying on topic:

My mom is convinced, because I'm insightful and perceptive, that I'm a very 'old soul.' When I was a kid I was into the idea because it made me feel special, but I've never really been able to buy it. She tells me about a 14th century past life of hers in which she was fleeing from some witch-hunt folks and ended up either hung or burned at the stake, I can't remember which. It makes way more sense to me that her 'memories' are some way for her psyche to process and face the trauma she experienced as a child in an abusive household.
