In the states it is, but he is in australia, and they are illegal, so I'd say its a good price there.

Beautiful snake, OP; I am unfamiliar with that species. I always wanted a milk snake because I'm a sucker for their patterns and the docility in well-kept specimens. If I was a bit wealthier and had enough room for a walk-in cage, I'd want a lemondrop Boa (albino, or however you wanna call em').

I always see those guys when I ride my bike on the green belt trail in my town. They hang out by a field in a creek. Saw 10 at least in the same little section of the creek last may.
i <3 snakes

im a bit confused by your pictures, it would seem you have some kinda of snake/gecko cross as he appears to be sticking to the side of his container
but seriously my only advice to you is to start breeding mice asap, you'll save tons of money and he'll get cleaner, fresher food
oh and when you feed your snake put him in a bucket first and then drop his food in, i know i know u both kinda miss out on the fun, however it serves alot of purposes, the main one being it keeps your cage alot cleaner, 2 every now and then you'll run into a really smart mouse that your snake can't catch, and 3 it keeps you on a schedule for taking your snake out and also makes him accostomed to eating in the bucket which will make him a tiny bit tamer as eventually he will start thinking "food" every time you take the top off his cage
OH and speaking of cage, make dam sure you put some rocks on each corner of your screen top, snakes are excape artists...well except for the fat lazy ones like boa constrictors
Edit: just looked at your pics again, i would upgrade to a much deeper water bowl, and much bigger overall as well, snakes like to take baths, but that water bowl also looks a bit shallow to be drinking out of, you'd have to keep it tip top full to make it comfortable to drink from and in a couple hours it's going to evaperate a lot
id also upgrade your bedding, ideally you should have something he can burrow under to keep warm, the downside is it will eventually get into his mouth during feedings, which is another reason to use a bucket

You said everything I was going to say
Breeding mice is fun also, you get to play with genetics. I bred rats for a while because I have a 5 ft corn snake and he ate a lot when I was breeding.
Nice snake RP

yea what he said i have a ball python, the breeder i got him from said to use cypress chips i believe since its not an oily wood and my snake love it he find an nice place to curl up.
also did you get the heating pad? i was told when i got mine not to use a heating pad because sometimes they get too hot, snakes can sense warmth but they don't know how warm it is and they can end up burning themselves on a heating pad if their not careful.
hes gorgeous though have fun. i love my snake his name is mumbo
