First post/Cacti ID

Hi to all you guys, I just have acquired a cactus cutting (on suspicion of a Trichocereus) and am looking for some help identifying this particular piece. To me, from reading/pictures it looks like it may be something like a cereus (peruvianus), or MAYBE? T. Bridgesii? (three spines at each areole, etc.) I just find it hard with all the variations.
Let's cut to the chase:

Any help/info is much appreciated, thanks guys!

It is certainly a Trichocereus. I'd say Bridgesii.
Very nice cactus! Let's hope an attempt is made at cultivation.

I'd be very happy to have a T. Peruvianus as well, I just didn't think it would be as it doesn't seem to have the 'fierce' look I see in most of the pictures. Oh, and definite propagation is in its future! Any more guesses?

I think it's T. bridgesii.
It may be the "Eileen" clone...

Just picked up some cactus soil materials and root growth stimulant at the store yesterday! Do I have any rot to look out for while I wait for the cut end to callous over?

Keep the cut dry, having a fan blow on the cut end will speed up callousing.
