can i case cakes that have already flushed once?

after a long vacation, my drones began cultivating again. they are using the pf tek with the standard pf classic strain. they are having good to great results with the cakes in a perlite humidified terrarium, but they are looking for a bit more yield. casing looks very appealing right now, but they wanted to know if it were feasible to case cakes that have already had a first flush (some of them are on their second flush).

I had 3 cakes that weren't doing very well in the Pod...I had let them get too dry...they had flushed twice in the Pod but only produced like 2 or 3 shrooms per flush. I dunked them and cased all 3 with plain vermiculite...I'm harvesting the second flush of the casing right now. I should get at least one more nice flush from the casing before I ditch it.
