Lets say theoretically someone ordered Mimosa Hostilis root bark from an online source that ships from out of country. Now lets say it has been 16 days since it was "shipped". Is this normal for out of country mail? How long should I wait before I get worried?

I don't know. Sorry. I would suggest posting in another section of the forums though. Not sure if this is the best place to get a lot of responses.

That is pretty normal. I've waited 21 days for over sea shipments.

I ordered botanicals before from a business based in the Amazonian rainforest. It was viable Passiflora Edulis seeds and viable Theobroma Cacao seeds/nut--passion fruit and chocolate tree respectively.
It took three weeks to get to my home--and the theobroma was not even viable!

since you don't state the method of shipment, the responses will be less usefull. its on the long side for a first world country via airmail, however not out of the question. For plant matter customs often delays them for a few days, sometimes returns them if the documentation is shitty.
for surface mail, wait a few months, then worry.
