At least it would keep all the crazies on one ticket where they could be safely and easily ignored.

Nono, you misunderstand me.
I know some very smart and rational people who support Ron Paul. I can't say the same about Huckabee, but I don't generally hang out in his circles.
I'm saying the candidates themselves are crazy. Of course, they could both be right and the Earth really could 6,000 years old. And all women could really have been created by God from the rib of Adam. And evolution may really be an atheist plot to discredit Christianity.
They could be right. But it seems more likely that they are both as crazy as a shit-house rat.

It is sad that he looks insane when you stack him up against the status quo. Shows just how far the system has crumbled.

Very true...one day people will wake up, maybe not soon enough though.

The potential people who could have been here in my place but who will in fact never see the light of day outnumber the sand grains of Arabia. Certainly those unborn ghosts include greater poets than Keats, scientists greater than Newton. We know this because the set of possible people allowed by our DNA so massively exceeds the set of actual people. In the teeth of these stupefying odds it is you and I, in our ordinariness, that are here." - Richard Dawkins
