Lately ive been doing some experiments with myself and trying to control when i drift into my subconscious state. Last night as i lay in my bed i could feel my mind starting to slip into sleep. Then i started to feel a vibration in my spine that started almost like a tickle and eventually got to the brink of being painful... I then floated into the air and started getting pulled towards some unknown source... I made it about halfway across my room until i started to have fear for the uncertainty of where i was being brought... i was then promptly dropped about fifteen feet away from my bed and i can remember getting up and walking back to my bed. Usually i just wake up and find myself already in bed. Ive had a couple experiences with lucid dreaming but in all of my lucid dreams ive kind of woken up during my dream and realized i was dreaming and i was always somewhere else. This was like i never actually went to sleep or i was dreaming consciously, and i never left my room my dream was of me being pulled from the spot i was actually at. Any thoughts or advice on this experience or how to maximize the potential of experiences like these. Ive also found that its hard for me to let my mind slip into subconsciousness... any suggestions to make that process easier?
