i saw them a few years ago with chevelle and david reminded me of a flaming homosexual all dressed up in his ass tight pleather pants and painted on shirt. his stage pressence is that of a homo. jsut the way hes moves and presents himself. i dont know how anybody could think that is a good live show.
Chevelle puts on a damn good show
yea thats who i went to see. those guys have talent. that fucker can sing!
4-5 years ago I saw them with Trapt, Smile Empty Soul, and 3 days grace.
Trapt and Chevelle taking the cake. "This Type of Thinking" and "Wonder Whats Next" were brilliant albums.

yes exactly. They were hand picked and chosen to play the roles. They didn't have any period as struggling musicians.. everything was already set up for them. They recorded some shitty demo, played a few clubs then went straight into the studio and magically became famous overnight and had airplay and music videos. Total bullshit. I'm almost 100% sure they don't even write their own music. It's just some cheesy nu-metal formula some producer in some studio somewhere cooks up.
And in metal, that's utter blasphemy.

JonnyOnTheSpot said: your description of the singer is pretty dead on. i saw them years ago when i had garbage taste in music, and i only went because mudvayne was opening. even back then it was clear that disturbed was horrible. the singer looks like some 40 year old douche who decided he could make a bunch of money if he sang stupid lyrics that would appeal to angsty pre-teens. the band came out of a nu-metal mold created by some producer. it's unoriginal, trite, and predictable. how anyone can take them seriously and call it poetry is mind boggling to me. it's hysterical and sad at the same time.
see... now you obviously dont know shit. "a nu-meatl mold created by some producer'?????? are you fucking retarded? not in the slightest. cookie cutter? sorry but any bands that even remotely like disturbed came out after the fact. honestly you just sound like some pissed off kid waving his hands around in frustration talking shit about stuff that he doesnt really know about. get a fucking clue.

Hm, for a guy who says he can take opinions, you're getting pretty angry
and whoever mentioned Chevelle.. my buddy has one of their discs and yeah, that guy is a pretty good singer.

i get angry when opinions are ill informed and completely mindless dribble that is basiclly aimed at discrediting a reputable band.
