Enjoyable hobbie that saves money

wine making and beer brewing.
make them in 6- 7 1/2 gallon batches. the end price comes out to be about 30 cents a glass a wine or beer.
great way to save money and have fun experimenting with recipes - i have some peach wine going and will sample for the first time in a few days when i rack it. you can also drown your guests in alcohol for nearly next to nothing.
also as food and ag prices become inflated, you'l be set with your own supply. you can also sell it for super cheap and turn a hell of a profit. when prices soar, people look for alternative sources for goods. your friends will come to you when they need their drinks for the weekend.
something to consider - hops trippled in price this season because of the internation shortage. Grain (usedx to make liqors) are becoming a fuel source. glass is becoming more expensive to manufacture. expect to see 8$ six packs in the near future.
be self sufficient and be merry at the same time!

i used canned fruits, water, sugar, and yeast in a primary fermenter then rerack in 10 days into a carboy. you can also use any storebought juices, homegrown or storebought fruits. it's an easy and enjoyable hobbie.
have fun experimenting!

Moonshine and brandy are key to a lot of tinctures for herbal home remedies. Some good knowledge to keep in the back pocket.
My buddy and I got into brewing beer. Brewed our first batches together. I couldn't for a while do to living conditions. But my friend kept brewing and kept with it for a while. He had 3,5 gallon kegs on tap at all times. People would stop by and fill their growlers. He would get his money back to afford more ingredients, plus some time.
Trial and error and access to big pots and burners and cheap kegging systems help make the whole process a lot more fluid.

having a bottle of wine that costs you 75 cents to make is a great remedy for bad days!
remedy question - how can you make your own chaser tablets? arnt they just activated charcoal? you could make it real easy right?
