mirrors bad?!?

I dont know why people say not to look in mirror when your trippin i love looking in them! when i do it almost looks like im cut out of reality in some sort of way and everything around me (walls, tub, ect.) are melting and it looks soo cool! what are some of your experiences looking in mirrors?

i love looking at mirrors. I usually find my face pressed up against them because i keep trying to look at my skin really closely.

Sometimes I look in the mirror and I see myself as some evil face or evil person....really trippy! Just to go along with it I start making my meanest faces in the mirror and then I'll start cracking up....fun stuff..!!

I like stepping through the mirror into the other dimension, but you must be very careful to come back before the trip ends, else you will be stuck behind the mirror forever-ever-ever (echoes)...

i think mirrors show who you "really are" and all that...i dunno with my experience with them,they always freak me out but i'd still suggest to everyone to atleast try it....now lucy,looking in the mirrow with her is lots of fun

I looked in the mirror on my first shroom trip, and it was fucking awesome. I got the funhouse effect....and this was a full length mirror too and I stared into the mirror for about 10 minutes (or so it seemed) and then after I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror and got kinda freaked coz my face became kinda ugly and hidious like a creature....

my second trip, I looked into the mirror and started having a bad trip. I havn't looked in the mirror since. I avoid them when possible. I was told that you're not supposed to look in the mirror while shrooming, especially if you have a low self esteem (I don't, but my mind tends to waunder too much sometimes) and with the combonation of thinking too much and looking in the mirror, it equals disaster...

My 4th trip, I really wanted to look at myself in the mirror again (when I was shrooming), but I told my friends (when I was sober) to keep me away from the mirror coz I didn't want to start to trip out bad....

I enjoy looking in mirrors while tripping too, it can be an interesting experience.  One of the things I like most of all, though, is looking at my hands while tripping.  I love getting that "X-ray" effect, where you can see through your skin and check out all the veins and stuff underneath  :cool:

It all depends, I have seen some really interesting things in the mirror, including my face looking like a series of rainbow strands, or pale green sickly looking. If it makes me upset I remind myself its just the drug. If that doesnt work, I look away.

But I love mirrors.
