Question for those who wear glasses/contacts

You ever take off your glasses/take out your contacts while tripping? I've never actually taken out my contacts while tripping but I've always been curios as to what your vision is like than. Is your vision made sharper at all? Are the visuals more/less intense?

I ate HBWR without my contacts in and it sucked... my visual field became even more confusing adding the trippiness to my already bad vision. I could barely make out facial expressions of people I was talking to so my communication skills were down the drain. I felt really closed off from the world, which gave an overall sort of cold tone to it.
If I was by myself it might not be that bad because I could just sit and listen to music, draw, meditate, etc.

One time I tripped on mush with some buddies, had my glasses on. When I took them off the trip became confusing and hard to understand, but they said there visuals were amazing when they put them on.(They all had 20/20 visoin). Maybe glasses are a good trip toy.

Okay, this happened to me a few months ago.
I was tripping on some L with my contacts on, and one of them fell out when I rubbed my eye. So I was like "fuck, what do I do (I didn't have my glasses at the time)".
I just decided to take the other one out to make it even. My pretty near sided so things are pretty blury from a few feet away.
I could still tell things were breathing and morphing but it seemed more like everything was emitting heat waves.
It was weird and definitely not as cool as I though it would be but I got a good laugh at it. And playing with my contacts was funny.

I didn't have my glasses last time I did acid, and it was pretty annoying. Watching fireworks are blurry was not fun - with sharper vision you could see the "star twinkle" of all lights. I'd keep em on from now on unless you're in a small area.
