Planet Earth.

This is a good set of nature series programs too (If you can find it).... It is a 33 DVD set, with 2-3 hours on each DVD.... About the same price as the Planet Earth series too....

There is a movie called "Into The Wild" that looked like a good Hollywood nature flick, but I haven't seen it myself....

Koyanisquatsi. Or something like that. And that new thing with Pierce Brosnan narrating, Deep Blue I think it's called.

Planet earth in HD is mind blowing and the animal chases are hilarious when tripping.
theres one scene where it shows the highest waterfall in the world, it is one of the most amazing scenerys youll ever see:
check it out: (but imagine it on a 40" HD screen when tripping hard, the water in the opening bit is the bluest blue!)

I have Planet Earth, Blue Planet, and the 33 disc set of Attenborough's Life Series. I was able to find the Life Series on ebay and got it for like $30. They are all amazing.
With the Life Series, I think the english translation on the box is very funny since its originally from China. All the dvds are perfectly fine though. It's a very rascinating and insithful doeumentary.
