Bent Needle

So i received three syringes, and all three of the needle tips are bent at 90 degree angles. Not that big of a problem if just poking it through a hole, but I can see this causing big problems if trying to penetrate a resealable silicon port. My question is, how best can I straighten these puppies out? I would rather not have to get new needles.
Also, how long should one boil a karo lc solution? Ive heard around 20 minutes, just want to make sure.
Thirdly, for my LC jar I will be using microspore tape over a hole for air exchange, should I put the tape on before or after boiling, and should I use aluminum foil or no?
Thanks in advance shroomerites.

where did you purchase the needles from? is the bend intentional? it sounds like if they are all at a 90 degree angle then it was probably made that way, either way that sucks, i would try to get new needles, im not sure you will be able to successfully bend those back, dont know though - never tried
20 min to PC karo LC
put the tape on before PC, i also put a small square of tyvek under the tape for extra protection, definitely use aluminum foil while PCing

I can't really think of a way to unbend them without possibly closing up the hole going through the needle. Is the length of needle at the end long enough to make it through a silicone glob without having to work the bend through it?

I got them from lil shop. They gave me an extra syringe which I liked, however it was bunk, maybe no fault of their own. I was happy with everything except all these needles.
And actually I dont have a PC so this will just be a regular boil, still 20 minutes or longer?
Dragon what do you mean working the needle through without having the "work the bend through it"? Its basically shaped like an L at the very tip.

Regular boil for like 20-25 minutes should be ok... And what I meant was, is the tip past the bend long enough to reach through the silicone injection port? Or is it too short to reach through without having to work the needle all around and screw up the silicone? Also, have you contacted Lil Shop about it?

I havent contacted them, I guess I should though. The bend is at the very tip so there is no way to do what you are suggesting. What can I do here?

File, dremmel, saw, snips, wire-cutter, hacksaw blade, wetstone, pliers,
If you're gunna be doing sceintific work with spores, surely you can figure this one out on your own.

Thanks you bitter prick. Seeing as this is a discussion forum, I wanted to know if anyone experienced this. And do you really need to be criticizing other's questions when you couldn't figure out how to stop smoking? Surely you could have been able to figure that out. Screw off.

Lets see what's apparent here....
You need a syringe to be straight, long and tubular. Your syringe is not straight long and tubular. Therefore you have to make it straight long and tubular. The only possible outcomes are to A. Fix the syringe you have. B. Get a new one.
Also, you obviously have self-confidence issues, because the statement you quoted was a half-quaint quasi-compliment. As in, If you're about to grow shrooms, then you're smart enough to rememdy this situation..
Not to mention, I gave you several methods in which you could repair the needles yourself....
And yes, I'm a tool to be addicted to nicotine.....

Can you losers just get out of my thread? Nothing better to do? This is a message board, I asked a question which I couldn't find an answer to via the search engine. Now obviously I could go to my garage and start tooling away, but I figured someone came across this problem and a proper way to rememdy it. You are the one who came in being a pompous ass. You're not impressing anyone with your "half-quaint quasi-compliment". If you have anything more to add about my personality, ill gladly read it in a PM.
Now back on topic. Anyone had any success fixing a bent syringe?

The needles screw off. The joint after the cap. If they gave you one good one needle, use it for all your syringes. Just sterilize it.

Unfortunately all three were bad as if it was done on purpose by lil shop, not sure why though.

if the bend is right at the tip then i would suggest just to cut the bended part off entirely with some strong f-ing wire cutters or something
but you should really ask for a refund or exchange or something, if i got a bunch of fucked up needles i think i would be calling them immediately bitching about it

The problem I think with snipping the tips off would be closing the needle... I'd also worry about contaminating the syringe, I dont know how likely that would be, filing on the tip. And I gotta side with you buddy, the "surely you can figure it out for yourself" quip did seem kinda dick...

If you have a belt sander you can just sand the damn tip off and even make it sharp and pointy again. Now act upon these suggestions and quit whining in this forum board. And it may be a forum but it doesn't mean we have to LIKE to listen to you whine and clutter the site . Either fix it yourself or talk to lil shop. We can't do shit for you :P

No need to be so hostile, just looking for some pointers. no one has really given any good advice except for you in this post. someone named some tools earlier, which my kid could have done. I was just seeing if anyone encountered it, didn't want to mess up my precious syringe. And I just e-mail lil shop, we will see what their response is.

I would email Lil Shop or PM night train. I highly doubt they would bend your needles intentionally as that would just be retarded. I'm sure they would have no problems sending you new needles to swap out for the bent ones. If not, bitch about it in the Sponsors Forum. That's (supposedly) what it's there for. Why are we even talking about you having to fix their problem?
