So I need some shoes

Well, I'm long past the point where I should've gotten new shoes, but the time has finally come to get a new pair.
My shoe of choice for the past few years has been converse. I love my converse, because I'm almost flat-footed, but they're such a hassle to lace up.
Does anyone have recommendations of a shoe for the (nearly) flat-footed, that doesn't have to be laced up like combat boots?
Right now I'm thinking about something like moccasins or clogs, but they'd have to be durable enough to be worn every day.

I always get two pairs of New Balance (okay, not always, but I do always have one wearable pair of NBs available) for 90 bucks. Don't know how well they fair for the flat-footed crowd though.

I got these for Xmas and not only are they eco-friendly they are damned comfortable and would work great for flat feet. It remains to be seen if they hold up to the test of time.

The original clarks Wallabees. You can look like a hippy, have ugly shoes, and be very fashionable all at the same time.

hey ts727, what kind of shoe is that? How big are the arches (if any)?
dlinux, those are some damn cool shoes, but they're a little too high on my price range for something I can't try on before buying. Anyone know of a store that carries these babies?
badchad I think I might go with the clarks. Those look so damn comfy, and I doubt they have any arches. They also go well with my inner hippy.

the brand is osiris. there is a slight arch but it's more on the inside than in the structure of the shoe. They are almost flat but sooooo comfortable. i love to wear them with dress socks.
