No one has said it until now. Though there may be some similiar physical characteristics, the way I carry myself, speak and personality are very different and that would throw someone from making that comparison before it ever entered their mind. Jerry hall ( in her younger years) and Daryl Hannah are the two I get a lot.
What do you all think of about Ruskin for an economic advisor pick?
I was very happy he went with him.

Not sure if you said besides donations because you think you can't or if because you are broke.
You can buy bumper stickers, they have magnetic ones also, t-shirts signs etc from the store, even if you live out of the country and are not a U.S. citizen. You'll pay more for shipping though. http://www.ronpaul2008store.com/servlet/StoreFront
A show of international support for Paul to American tourists can help.
You can see if there is a Ron Paul meet up group in your area. Canada and many many countries around the world have them www.meetup.com Plug in the info it asks for and it will show the ones closest to you. If any are near you, you can see what they are up to, to get involved with.
You can also chip in for independent grass roots projects ie; radio, tv and newspaper ads, money bombs ect. You'll find loads of them at www.ronpaulforums.com
You can run support that costs nothing by helping with mass e-mail drives to light fires under asses, Digg articles to get them on the front page of digg, etc.
That site is the national and International hub for RP grass roots supporters acting independently from HQ, the one the media watches for what we are up too. They've shown it on CNN several times.
There is also an International grassroots support sub forum in the grassroots central forum. You can read there and see what other non U.S. citizens across the globe are up too to help.
http://www.ronpaulforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=181
Get acquainted with whats happening there and I'm sure you'll find many things you can easily do to help the cause.

Thank Ron Paul for putting himself in the front line where all of the bullets are being fired at. I've been having a blast being an active part of the movement.
Anyway, Paul just also added Peter Shiff to his growing cabinet of economic adbivors.:)
An economics Powerhouse team is being built around him!! Paul, Luskin and Shiff!!
Press release came out from HQ today-
Quote:
Peter Schiff Named Economic Advisor to the Ron Paul 2008 Presidential Campaign
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Jesse Benton
January 25, 2008 (703) 248-9115
ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA – Newly appointed Ron Paul economic advisor, Peter Schiff, issued the following statement about Dr. Paul’s proposed comprehensive economic revitalization plan:
“We need a plan that stimulates savings and production not more of the reckless borrowing and consumption that got us into this mess in the first place. Ron Paul’s plan is the only one that amounts to a step in the right direction. If you want meaningful change - for the better that is - Ron Paul is the only candidate capable of delivering it. The others merely promise to continue the failed policies that are at the root of our current economic problems.”
Peter Schiff is president of Euro Pacific Capital Inc, and a frequent guest on CNBC, Fox News, and Bloomberg Television. He is often quoted in major financial publications and is the author of the book Crash Proof.
In the past Peter Schiff said the following of Dr. Paul: “Ron Paul is the real deal, a true statesmen and citizen politician in the traditions envisioned by the framers of our Republic.”
Mr. Schiff is available for interviews regarding Congressman Paul’s economic policies.
Congressman Paul’s comprehensive economic revitalization plan can be found online at: www.RonPaul2008.com/Prosperity

Can you explain why these policies are good? (you don't have to go over all of them) I just fail to see how cutting taxes that much can be a good thing at all, or deregulation to a libertarian extreme. That is my problem with Ron Paul is he is an extreme. Both regulation and deregulation have proven to be very harmful when used too much. The same thing can be said with regulation, and other aspects of Ron Paul's fiscal policies. I agree with his civil issues, and his stance on the military, but this just seems ridiculous.
What the hell is with him wanting to televise the Federal Reserve!?
Thank you.

Extreme is a differnt way of saying sticks to one thing insted of switching the story every other week. Its a way to conform and trick the sheeple
If you have a brain. Vote for the one guy that the media isn't showing. You know this is Corperate america. They own the media. Inless you 'trust' the government........

no, extreme and consistency are two completely different things... he is extreme.
I "trust" the government about as much as I trust Ron Paul... his policies seem to scream corruption which is why I am a little confused at the support of his fiscal policies.

Alan Greenspan said that part of the effectiveness of the fed is its ability to debate issues without needing to be worried about political correctness and other things of that sort. I guess I fail to see how what the fed talks is a threat to the U.S.

So what could it hurt to open their proceedings to the public?

It will take away the open environment that allows for effective regulation of the economy. Greenspan touches a little bit on the subject in his book.

Open proceedings will lead to a lack of openness?
Please elaborate.

sorry bad word choice
I meant the openness of the members of the fed to discuss matters with each other without worrying about the public and government reaction.
I am a little messed up right now, so I apologize if that is incoherent.
