so i started reading about feng shui a few months ago, and decided to give it a try. after changing a few things ive noticed huge changes in my life. its not just me, a couple of friends have also done it and had similar results.
just curious about other peoples experiences with it and such.
if you dont know anything about it, i highly suggest you check it out.

Rearrange your furniture every year or so, it'll practically change your life

im not too sure thats a good thing, to be facing the door when you sleep. not the commanding position of the room. as long as you enjoy what you get from it, more power to ya.
feng shui is fucking weird. i did it, forgot about doing it, then started noticing how smoothly things in my life were happening, and remembered feng shui.
i recently moved into an apartment with a friend of mine, so i got my feng shui on when i moved in. i bought a nice new bed, new sheets and comforter, put the bed in the commanding position in the room. got a bamboo plant in the wealth gua, along with all my money and have a water fountain by the front door of the apartment.
after changing things around, i got a girl in my bed who i never thought would end up there, ive got the perfect connections, and ive never had as much money as i do now, and things just keep happening.
i suggest everyone go out and grab a book on feng shui. itll freak you out. its so subtle, but things just start happening.

Penn & Teller: Bullshit - Feng Shui
Part 2

Then again, it probably was the feng shui, I doubt you could lead a successful and happy life without exploiting some kind of supernatural force, am I right?

ive seen that video before. and i think its rediculous that people call themselves feng shui consultants and do that shit. its something you have to do yourself, with a certain intention in mind.
i think feng shui is a little deeper and complicated than what they can really get into on an hbo show.

yep - i too have experienced the benefits of feng shui - also the negative effects.
i think it is a good idea to have order in your house - i find that when i feel the worst/shittiest I also notice the house/room is a mess, the bank account is on zero, and I haven't meditated or did any exercise.
Feng shui is good to keep you on track.
I would love to be a Feng Shui consultant - thats money for nothing.

no doubt, i bet those people in that video love their job. getting paid to tell people shit like "your couch should be here so you cant watch tv or walk through your hallway, its just good feng shui."

Feng Shui is very specific. It is not nearly so easy to use as Vastu Vidya. I think they are very important. Any materialistic fool will tell you that clutter induces frustration. It should be instantly observable that placement can effect the calmness of the mind or even effect the very spirit. Should a person have one.

It should be instantly obvious that placement has to come from within; no book or person can dictate the rules. Such an effort would be as futile as stating Truth, but that doesn't stop people from claiming to be experts or charging or their expertise.

it's helpful to have guidance, as long as one doesn't idealize the guide.
