Wanna see some true religious fanatics?

These rejects are the definition of sociopathic. These are the people who protest military funerals and picket them with signs like, "God hates your dead fag soldier." They claim righteousness, and preach pure hate, despite their claims of Christian values. They should all be beaten to death with tire irons.

I'm not religious, I'll accept it when I see someone truly divine and for anyone to admit perfection is to admit arrogance.
The problem is, people will see something that they disagree with and depending on what it is they are UN-intentionally letting themselves be effected by exactly what they dislike.
Forgive them and forget them.
P.S, if someones physically assaulting another person at random, it's up to our own self control to remove the situation from their power, if it continues then death follows. I'm not a hippie.

Yup.

Not exactly sure what you're saying here, but the families that unintentionally had their son killed only to have some hate-filled jerks show up at the funeral and attack them are definitely affected. I am just saying so often in the world today, and in so many ways, people cloak themselves in religion only to serve their own purposes and spread their own agenda. Read: Pat Robertson and Osama bin Laden. I just think it's a crime that there is such hate. It's gay.

They sure know their scripture, though. I heard them on the radio today, and it was amazing to hear them rationalize their behavior, and demeanor.

pffft... I doubt they have ever even killed anybody. At least not in an organized fashion. They have a way to go before joining the ranks of the most zealous.

There's a documentary about them and I think it's called "The Most Hated Family in America." check it out, it's really interesting!

there's a fine line between religion and politics seeing that each can be masked as the other. anyone confused about their awareness can easily trip over both.

These people although probably completely unaware of their blind conviction are still apart of society today, and in fact I think their message of hate to (gods) creation is a good thing, it's helping people see true ignorance and better understanding of self control.
Maybe they know and we're all idiots lol, who knows, like I said, until they're physically assaulting people in a organized fashion, forgive and forget. As soon as you let go of your hate for them you'll have a better understanding of things man.

After they attack people then is it okay to hate them? Anyway, my penchant for hyperbole, and strong language has misled you. Don't read too far into my words. This is probably meant to be more about fanaticism than anything else.

ah, my bad man. I always over analyze things.
No, but it would give way for damn good reason to spit out 30+ rounds from a C7A1 assault rifle to disperse the crowd, lol, we just need to realize bullets cost money, cant be shooting them at the wrong ones...

This family was actually sued last year for picketing at a marine's funeral. They lost the suit and were forced to pay millions of dollars in damages.

Wikipedia on Fred Phelps, founder of Westboro Baptist Church.
Quote:
The trial became an exhibition of a personal vendetta... evidencing only a desire to hurt and destroy
Quote:
[four of his children] insist that Westboro actually serves to enable a paraphilia of Phelps, wherein he is literally addicted to hatred.
That's sad.
Quote:
Two of his sons, Mark and Nate, insist that the church is actually a carefully planned cult that allows Phelps to see himself as a demigod, wielding absolute control over the lives of his family and congregants, essentially turning them into slaves that he can use for the sole purpose of gratifying his every whim and acting as the structure for his delusion that he is the only righteous man on Earth.
Quote:
Phelps developed a delusion wherein he was one of the few people on Earth worthy of God's grace and that everyone else in the world was going to Hell, and that salvation or damnation could be directly obtained by either aligning with or opposing Phelps.
Messiah complex, anyone?

What's the definition of sociopathic again?
-------------------- Welcome evermore to gods and men is the self-helping man. For him all doors are flung wide: him all tongues greet, all honors crown, all eyes follow with desire. Our love goes out to him and embraces him, because he did not need it. ~ R.W. Emerson, "Self-Reliance"

You don't understand much IMO. Fear runs hate. Hate is a reaction to fear. Your posts are examples of this.
The world is neither black or white.

How does fear run hate? Hate and anger are possibly a result of fear but fear has nothing to do with being strong and overcoming something. Hate=Strength as you can see here. Anyway I hate P&S anyway you guys will never figure anything out thinking the way you do.
