can someone recommend a good/accurate .01g scale?

They seem to be offered from anywhere between 8 bucks on ebay to several thousand. I know .001g scales are better, but they are also more expensive and being able to weigh in the 10's of milligrams should be fine for my purposes.
The problem I seem to be having with chep scales is this.....if I plop a certain amount of material on the scale....sub gram range, it measures just fine. But if i start small and build in order to reach so many milligrams, it won't register when I reach the amount and won't register way past that mark....
any input or suggestions is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

well, I guess we can stop replying here. Apparently "My weigh" and "Jennings" are well known, trusted brands. I just found a my weigh .01 scale on ebay for 50 bucks free shipping. Another site had the same scale for almost 60 plus shipping. Not too bad I think.
Thanks all. Matt

just be wary of shipping charges
sellers like to advertise their auctions for like $3.50, while they raise their shipping to like $28.99 to balance it out

i just posted this in another thread but http://stores.ebay.com/DENET heres a link to an ebay store that sells scales ridiculously cheap. i picked up a milligram scale for $20 that ive seen run from $70 to over $100 other places, even the company's own website. they have others as low as like 3.50 and the shipping is only an extra $5

I've got an american weigh scale that I got from ebay a while ago. It's a DIA-10. It works good, just don't breathe on it while you are trying to measure something.

well i wouldnt imagine breathing on it anyway what with trying to weigh out minuscule amounts of powder and all. works well though you say? how much did you pay?

Slightly off topic.
I've heard microgram scales can be made at home with a VU meter, seems like an interesting project. Anyone heard of this?

Yeah its almost impossible to find one that is accurate to 0.001% at a headshop. Order online thats your best bet.
