I used to get them all the time in my regular-usage days. They occur at random times, but last for onlyl a short time. I've gotten used to them, and they don't occur so often anymore.

One time early last year I would get really bad flashbacks for about 3-4 strait days. Sometimes it would last for many hours and it felt exactly like a mild trip but without the body high. I was very stressed out and suffering from a lot of anxiety at the time which I'm sure is what caused it. I think I may have had what I guess would be called an anxiety attack that weekend too. I just woke up in the middle of the night gasping for air for what seemed like 10-20 minutes until I fell asleep or passed out (couldn't remember the next morning).
The only vivid memory of a specific flashback during that time I have is I was riding with my friend in a car and I just started to feel very disassociated with everything. My friend was talking, and I could hear him perfectly, I could repeat word for word what he said, but it just didn't make sense to me. I had no sense of time and was just sitting in complete wonderment as to what was going on. I'd just keep asking myself in my head all kinds of why questions that should just be readily aparent in a normal state of mind. Not sure if that makes sense to you guys, but that's a very common thing that'll happen to me when I'm tripping.

Yeah, I notice sometimes it feels like I'm on a tiny amount of acid with no visuals but I definitely think differently for a few moments, with that kind of acid mindset.

I haven't tripped LSD or shrooms in 9 years.
I want to stress I'm a normal, highly functional, and successful person that contributes alot to society
I had a bad lsd trip 10 years ago and now everytime I think of LSD my heart races and my bad experience comes back.
I found this post because after seeing an LSD trip on tv my trip came back and it took me 20 min to come down. I'm pretty lucky my no one was here to see me.
Listening to harpsichord, curling in a ball, and breathing the painful metallic golden breaths really helped. Hopefully it will never occur to me again to this degree.
